WE're here for you

How could a healthcare advocate help me?

  • When you have a new or serious diagnosis
  • When you don’t understand your diagnosis or available treatment options
  • When you have concern for someone who needs oversight of medical care
  • You need help arranging an end-of-life plan for yourself or a loved one
  • You have someone who needs care coordination and you live out of town
  • Be a consistent resource when you need it the most

What types of services do healthcare advocates provide?

  • Provide an in-depth review of compiled medical records and diagnostics to formulate a clear medical path for you moving forward
  • Find highly regarded specialists and hospitals that meet your specific needs
  • Provide research and monitor your progress to help you to understand new diagnoses, interpret test results, and evaluate treatment options
  • Coordinate care, attend appointments with you, take notes, ask questions, providing an agenda and summary of each visit

Do you accept insurance for your services?

At this time, most insurance carriers do not contract with independent patient advocates. While our services are provided on a cash or credit card basis, Health Savings Accounts are also an approved means of payment. Click here to learn more about Health Savings Accounts.

My insurance company and my hospital have patient advocates so why should I hire you?

Insurance company and hospital patient advocates are employees of those companies and are restricted by their policies and procedures and may represent competing objectives. There are usually 2-3 patient advocates per hospital while there can be several hundred patients in the hospital on any given day--how much time would that advocate have for you or your loved one? Our professional Health Advocates are hired by you and your safety, wishes and best interests will always come first. We're here to give you uninterrupted understanding and next steps.

My parents live in your area but I don't. Can I hire you to be their Health Advocate?

Absolutely! As long as your parent agrees to our services, we can help. We will need authorized signatures on our Agreement for Services contract and Release of Information consent forms (HIPAA) to obtain medical records for your parent. You can find those forms LINK HERE.

I just need help keeping all of my medical bills straight. Will you do that for me?

Yes, we understand that all of that paperwork is overwhelming and stressful. Let us ease your mind by making sure that part of your life is under control.

Will you drive me to my appointments?

We can help find a service that can take you to and from your appointments; however, we do not transport clients. Some of those resources include but aren't limited to: FILL IN THE BLANK

Because you are RNs, do you provide home care?

Although we are RNs, we do not provide any type of medical services including giving medical advice. We are here to help you navigate the healthcare system, understand your condition and options, and to provide you with peace of mind.
